1920 BATHROOM REMODEL
This bathroom remodel turned a dated and awkwardly arranged space into a warm, nature-inspired retreat. The original layout placed the toilet right at the entry and created a cramped, uninviting flow. By reconfiguring the layout, the remodel introduced a more welcoming design—placing the vanity at the entrance, adding a new shower that floods with natural light from a nearby window, and retaining a freestanding tub with a tiled surround for relaxation. The clawfoot tub area was enhanced with thoughtful details that created a perfect spot to unwind, whether watching a movie or enjoying a glass of wine. Structural challenges meant reframing the floor from the ground up, as the original joists were badly compromised, but this allowed the team to rebuild with lasting quality. The final result is an earthy, classic bathroom that reflects the homeowners’ love for the outdoors while offering modern comfort and timeless design.
