1956 KITCHEN

This remodel blended kitchen and main floor updates into one striking transformation that honored the home's mid-century modern roots. Working alongside interior designer Alexis Plouzek, the Carlson Projects team executed a bold and thoughtfully curated vision. The project involved removing walls to open up the floor plan, incorporating vaulted ceilings, and integrating standout design features such as slat walls, floating shelves, and distinctive backsplash tile. Flooring and paint were refreshed throughout the main floor to bring cohesion and vibrancy to the updated space. The result is a dynamic, stylish home that celebrates its original character while embracing modern design.
